Prospective buyer of Range Rover Sport

Very Happy Hi all. I am considering buying a Range Rover sport 2.7 diesel between 2005 and 2006. What are any issues or faults that I should be looking for or aware of? Many thanks

Hi Woody.

Have a look at the following Buyers Guide from forum member 'Paddi'.

Also have a read of the forum topic below:

These should help.

Good luck with your purchase. Thumbs Up
Russ. I'm in the shed, I'll be back in the real world in a minute.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

Woody, I'm a new owner to the marque and similar to you had concerns and reservations. I do 20-30k miles a year and for the last five-six years have had manual 2l estates. Reason I changed us I wanted an auto. I sat in auto estates but nothing made me smile.

Sat and drove in the RRS TDV8 and I smiled, two months later I'm still smiling even at the pumps Very Happy Rolling Eyes . I test drove a few but took my time finding the one I wanted, one will turn up. Nothing will guarantee a good car but as much service history receipts, a warranty gives some piece of mind.

So my reply would be go for it, enjoy it but be prepared for something to go wrong. This would be the case with any 10 year old car if you want peace of mind go for something younger, run of the mill and enjoy life under the radar! Wink

Take your time a good one will come along. Thumbs Up RRS owner and loving it..........so far!
