22" wheels - ideal width and offset??

Looking to purchased a set of 22" wheels for my 2011 RRS,

What is the ideal width and offset for a set of 22" wheels for the RRS?

In an ideal world, you'd go for the same as standard L494 which is a 9.5J on a 49mm offset as I think there have been people fitting L494 wheels to the earlier cars anyway. See if you can borrow one and see what the clearances are like?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'Ideal' but I have the 22" overfinch wheels and put 285/35/22 tyres on them (RRS 2006 overfinch) . The ride is a little firmer as you might expect from low profile but they look great and have had no rub issues.

By "ideal" I meant not moving too far from the width of rim and offset that are standard sizes otherwise you potentially end up with rubbing or bearing issues due to loading.
