Yes. You can still order Bonatti.. After reading about the V8 Diesel it sounds like I would mad to buy the V6 with all the improvements mentioned.. Found this article, sorry if it's old news, makes a compeling reason to wait to see how much and when it come to Oz. I will check tomorrow and let you know..

The same engine is going into the RRS though - just a lot of the talk about the improved cabin etc is actually already there Smile

Not sure about in Oz, but in the UK it goes into production in November with first deliveries in December and January. Don't know if you can gauge from that how long it will take to go on sale in Oz?

Just contacted LR and the guestimate price of the V8TD will be around the 140-150k. The 4.4 Petrol is being phased out and the V6TD will still be available.

So, back to the V6 as the V8 is outwith my budget..!

Australia 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

I was in for a service at the dealers in Perth today and discussing the TDV8 with the sales guys. They still do not have any firm details for it's release in Oz, but possibly won't be until next March at the earliest. Estimated increase on the TDV6 is $18-$20K but again it is all speculation and rumour.

As for colour, I initially wanted white but could not wait the extra 12 weeks so went with Java. As Zilch was saying it does get a bit dirty but doesn't take much too keep clean and when it is, it looks bloody good. Cool. The other thing too is our weather is relatively fine here for most of the time. As for the dynamic pack, it is a must. I have dynamic response and have driven one without and I can honestly say it is worth every cent. The car sticks to the road like the proverbial xxxx to a blanket. Twisted Evil The cornering and stability is superb.

Your price of $104K sounds not too bad. What is the deleivery on that. There is about a 4 - 5 month wait here in the west.

Cheers....Wayne 2006 RRS TDV6, Java/Alpaca, Dynamic Response Pack, Tow Pack, Head and Tail light protectors, 20" Stormers, Roof Rails, S/C Grill and Side Vents, Tasmods. AutoLogic mod.
1988 RR Highline, 3.5 EFI Arctic White, ARB Bullbar, Roof Rails, 15" Alloys, Front and Rear light Grilles, Side steps. (Still going strong)

I can get into it now as they have two or three in stock ..

Java is the best and you are right... When it's clean it looks great. Also, our weather is great not like Scotland where I used to live..

Hail Hail !
