Good job!

Was playing on the Grossglockner in Austria yesterday and it made me wonder how the SVR would behave. The combination of 4WD and all that power would make for an entertaining time. Wonder about the brakes though as I've had serious brake fade on a Ferrari. Those cooling ducts on the SVR would be earning their keep.

It's an exercise which props up any flagging demand for petrol. I was in a 911 turbo and it got though a tank in a morning, 13.3mpg. I can imagine the SVR would be well into single figures. Mark

What's the current waiting time for a new SVR? Have had my SDv6(AB) for a week and great as it is I am missing that sublime power surge that I thought I could live without Neutral
Or to put it another way, I've f***ed up.

Hi Cantona, the waiting time was 6 months when I ordered end of September. Obviously you can pick a 2nd hand one up but they were all advertised at over list price last time I looked. 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

Thanks, you were in a similar position to myself, but made the right call. Hopefully I won't lose too much on mine in 6 months time, they seem to hold their value pretty well in all honesty..

Yes they do seem to hold value pretty well, so much so, I was originally after a second hand AB but the difference to a new one was only a few grand. Quite what they will offer you in part exchange is another matter.... 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue

I don't deal direct with LR, through my dealer, who will put it up on his site and sell it privately for me. Costs me a grand for the privilege but well worth it.

Carn't decide on the colour now! Have never really been into blue (or white) cars, not sure about it in the Black as it tends to hide all of its eye catching characteristics which leaves me with the Corris, as per my (week old Embarassed ) v6AB. Which does look pretty smart.
What do the SVR specialists think?!

Probably. I've seen two other SVRs in the car park other than mine.

Both blue.

It had to be Blue for me too. Sure I read somewhere (possibly on here?) that the Blue is selling better on the 2nd hand market, and therefore commanding a higher price? Or maybe I imagined that because mine will be Blue Rolling with laughter 2016 RRS SVR Estoril Blue
