Want to chip my 2014 RR sport.

Hi guys.

Any recommendations for a company that can chip/re-map my 2014 RR Sport?

Im on the Herts/Essex border.

England 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

My HSE Dynamic does 0 to 60 in under 7 seconds, returns 35 to 42 mpg and handles like a car half its size. Why would you want to chip a car that already does this and is still under warranty?

This is my first 4x4 having come from BMW M4 and Audi RS4. Just wanted a bit more poke. The M4 was 0-60 in 3.9!

I would invest more into researching the bang for your buck here. All remapping does is alter the air/fuel mixture to get you a higher boost and more HP. Some companies do it better than others in the sense that they have achieved a near perfect balance between greater power/performance and excellent handling/efficiency.

I myself would NEVER chip something as fast or powerful as my RR. Seriously, why would I? I have 510 horsepower at my disposal and can't even use half of that most of the time due to local speed limits and driving restrictions. This means I can't run the engine hard meaning more carbon build up. So, if you are in a similar situation, save yourself the money and enjoy the power you already have. More doesn't always = better.

Oh and as for your M4 arguement. I can totally relate. I'm actually thinking about getting a 2005 M3..... Not as fast as the M4 but I just love the look and the power!!!! Wink
