Australia- I have a 2012 RRS HSE Luxury with the upgraded stereo and other factory only upgrades. So It is 3 &1/2 years Old. Crackling sound thru stereo even when turned off, sat nav not working properly- the map part works but info update stays as per the input -say if 11kms to go will say that until destination reached. Phone and stereo and nav goes off and on - dealer has quoted Aust $7,099 to replace part only, which is the entertainment module /computer. Labour costs even more.

1. Anyone else had this problem?

2. If so, did it cost that much to replace when you did it. Do you think that cost is reasonable.

3. Any suggestions about what to do as this is a very expensive- I could almost buy another car with that.

I assume you are just out of warranty.

Under Australian Consumer Law you would probably have a reasonable claim for it to be fixed under warranty even if out of LR warranty.
