Headlight reflectors, what to do with them ?

I'm going to be doing the LED headlight upgrade and I'm wanting to do something with the amber headlight reflectors. either to change them or tinting them. Can anyone give me any ideas about replacing them or tinting them as I don't want to just paint them black the same as the headlight internals are going to be.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks

had mine changed last night, to be honest i removed the reflective strip and glossed blacked them, but the car is white and black so it works well, another idea would be to use a silver reflective strip

Is there any legal need for the amber reflective strip?

No and the MOT manual states for the purpose of MOT -

This inspection applies to the two obligatory rear reflectors that are required by Regulation to be fitted.

Only the 2 x rear reflectors come into the MOT. 2006 4.2 Supercharged Buckingham blue

My D3 passed its MOT without any rear reflectors, even after I pointed them out to the tester, and asked if the lights ~I had replaced them with were legal. He said they were Confused

Just for clarification. There are no reflectors on the rear (or front) of my car. Passed MOT ok, and had no issues from the traffic police either Thumbs Up

I wrapped my reflectors with black fly eye and used black plastidip & glossifier on my bezels so I could keep the stock reflector part and to be honest can't even see the orange reflectors. Thumbs Up
