Indeed, but it is a circle of proximity.

So you will get an alarm if you enter that circle even if it is not relevant to you. 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

I went through this malarky with my first 2 L494s. The problem is that it only alarms when you're using the satnav to route you somewhere AND have the guidance turned on, which infuriates me.

As Phil has already mentioned, the choice (of 3) 'alarms' are what I could only describe as comical. Everytime it went off I wanted to get up and answer the front door!

My advice would be to manually enter a POI near where you regularly drive to test how it works for you first.

I didn't find the POIs useful or user friendly enough to bother with the faff on my SVR so save yourself the £20 and carry on using iPhone/Tomtom alerts. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

Sold - yesterday evening in fact!

Got £1000 more than I paid for it having done 8000 miles so can't complain really!

Loved the SVR - the absolute best all round car for practicality and fun. For me, however, it was never a long term keeper, and I jumped before the values started to come down significantly.

I'm back in a Fullfat (V8, although sadly only diesel) for now though. SOLD - 15 plate Estoril SVR

I'd be interested in this too. But can someone please post step by step instructions on how we download the data and install the camera locations to the sat nav? Thanks

its really easy to add them to the system - simply open the nav, click more, then click POI’s, then add POI’s (insert the USB), select the files and upload!

I may have missed a step but I am sure its pretty obvious once you start working through the nav Smile 2014.5 Mariana Black 5.0 Supercharged V8 Autobiography

So do we just subscribe and download them from pocketgpsworld By paying them £20? Or is there a different website you recommend?

I used that site but did not bother to renew because the nav system just "sees" them as points of interest and you have to decide to turn warnings on and get alerts for every camera you pass even if it is not on your side of the road.

Or turn the audible alarm off and keep your eye on the screen.

I am going to try the Land Rover Sygic app for navigation and see what the spped camera alerts are like with that.

I hope it works well as the map updates are free for life!! 2023 P440e SE Dynamic on order -cancelled

Do you need the latest versions of Land Rovers to use the Sygic app and the LR incontrol apps 3.0 HSE RRS Stornaway (current)

No, Sygic is a 3rd party app, but you need InControl (MY15+ L494) to allow the phone to display on the car's centre screen.
