Rrs 56 4.2 dvd remote

Hi all
im new to the forum and to the range rover
i have just got myself a 4.2 with rear entertainment and on reading the manuals it says about thr remote for the rear screens.
can you tell me if it is supposed to come with it or do some come without the remote.
i have one other question is it possible to changethe brightness and contrast on the front screen when watching a dvd.

2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Java Black

I believe the remote is an optional extra, as I have factory fitted rear entertainment, I got mine from ebay for around £75 and have never used it. 07,TDV8,Black, Black Heated leather all round, Rear Entertainment with Headpones & Remote, TV, DVD, Pure Dab Digital Radio, Sidesteps, Adaptive Headlights, sunroof, now working fuel burning heater )))

it's tucked in the seat pocket and never used

My kids use it all the time, switching between live TV (an changing channel) , DVD player an radio. Mine has a 6 DVD changer aswell so it useful for that.

I thought they were supposed to be supplied if you had the RSE fitted? Mine was missing from my first D4 and the dealer sorted it for me. MY15 D4 HSE Kaikoura Stone
