Buying RR sport

hi, looked at RR sport 2006 2.7td when viewing it and first starting it up I walked round the back passenger side and herd (what I think is suspension pump/compressor) working, my question is when first started is that normal to hear the pump/compressor working, after 20 seconds or so it stops so is it self levelling. Thanks in advance. Thumbs Up

Thanks for reply, honest opinion on this http://www.gumtree.com/p/land-rover/land-r...1121060827 I viewed it, service history up till 86000 no invoices, needs pro paint mop polish paint restore due to lots light scratches and drivers seat needs revamp, got creak on full lock suspect rubber bush or drop link etc, seems to drive nice, smoke a tiny bit on start up but so been told not been used for few weeks, I can have for 9k.

The lack of history for 28k miles is a bit of a worry but 9k is banger money so why not take a punt if you can afford to. If it's trouble, give it a clean up and move it on for a few quid profit, but I wouldn't get emotionally involved with it.

I agree with BKHK for 9k it's worth a punt, just be prepared incase it goes Censored up. Make sure you do all the checks, HPI, Check the vin etc as it's a massive come down from £13k to 9k. Just use common sense if you see what I mean.
