No idea. Paying work has to come first...

Tomorrow is the big day, as the gearbox won't hold itself together much longer. I've had my money's worth out of it Laughing

I'd love to tell you the noise has gone, but I was not paying any attention. Was listening for odd noises, and enjoying the performance again. However, the spines on the gearbox output, and transfer box input were both badly worn. Car is now parked up until a new transfer box is fitted early next week Big Cry

Yeah I bet it feels great to be able to enjoy driving again. Well done mate. If you do still get this noise can you check it whilst its on the 2 poster ramp? If you warm it up first, and with the engine running put it into drive & get someone to lightly go on & off on the accelerator whilst you are under the car looking at the torque converter through the bell housing you'll see the torque converter bouncing back & forward. This is what is making the noise on mine. Easy to see when on a 2 poster ramp. RRS TDV6 Overfinch

I do believe, the noise has all but gone Thumbs Up

Little difficult to make out over the noisy exhaust, but it's definitely much more subdued, and while still there a little, you only hear it if you are really, really listening out for it, and it lastlasts a fraction of a second Thumbs Up

When the car was running, there were some awful noises coming from the torque Convertor/bellhousing area.

But, it did sound like an air or fluid noise. I had thought about pressure loss in the valve block, or the oil pump/TC cavitating (sp?) and not drawing enough oil through itself...
