United Kingdom 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

Doesn't appear to be that difficult. Autoexpress managed to remove it in 47 seconds, all the others weren't much use either.

A stoplock pro is not the same as a stoplock, a stoplock pro is also thatcham rated and extremely difficult to remove.

Yes, but that is a contained test under ideal conditions.
A scrote on the street doesn't have the comfort of those conditions and most likely only has his poundland screwdriver and hammer on him. Rolling with laughter

Under those conditions, as in real world. i'd wager that it would be very effective - as would the disklock. Thumbs Up Need....more.....mud, must.....off.....road.

Just thought of something else as well.........47 seconds, that's still 37 seconds longer than it takes to actually steal a RRS with keyless. Big Cry Rolling with laughter Need....more.....mud, must.....off.....road.

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Cairns Blue

Point is to put the scrootes off. Nothing is "secure" but if they see a disclok they will move on as it protracts the time of getting caught.
Go back to original posts on this which is that the car should be secure without adding chucks of metal, somebody needs arse kicked on the security of systems, used to be that key programming could only be done by factory plugging in to car via dealer network Whistle I know this only because had keys to my RS4 pinched off my desk and needed a new key and stolen one deleted. Whistle 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

Exactly.
Time added = more likely to get caught, so they move along.

Has anyone heard anything from Land Rover about whether they have come up with a way to prevent thefts lately?

Yes, the apparently have a new module in the car, that will only ever work with two keys. i.e. it is not possible to clone a key. if you lose a key, then you need a new module and two new keys. This is according to my dealer.
