Windscreen Washer Jets

Is it possible to fit different bonnet windscreen washer jets to ones which are like a spray rather than individual jets of water?

Are you sure that yours aren't blocked?
My headlight washers spray but bonnet washers give two distinct streams each side.
I clean mine occasionally with a pin.

I think he means the horizontal spray mist you get on a VW?

If so I am sure there will be after market kits available on eBay etc

Thee look like a single stream, but a bit tacky?

They are not blocked, just would prefer the mist type ones as Tailormadefun also highlighted. Thanks

I used to have a Vauxhall Insignia VXR which had mist spray jets (much better ) I don't believe we can fit them to the RRS as they are heated. Sad

They are different fitment see link below

Ive seen a couple of threads about this but my question is, in terms of functionality not asthetics, what difference will it make changing to mist type ones? I'm not Fat. RRS TDV6 HST.

I agree. The standard LR ones are pretty poor.

The best jets I've come across before we're ones fitted to the current shape Volvo V70. They too are bonnet mounted and give the spray.

I've not had chance to have a look with regards to fitment though, unless anyone else can advise? Current - RRS SE Rimini Red

Previous - BMW 520, RR P38 4.0 V8 HSE, Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 GSi

Another annoying feature (maybe its just mine I don't know?) is when you do squirt the windscreen washer, the wipers don't automatically start! I would say it's pretty obviosu that when you squirt your windscreen you will want to use the wipers as well! Every other car I have had automatically starts the wipers, why not RRS?
