Yes it should be on the slope, the edge nearest the back is higher.

Back now after 1800 mile round north Scotland and the Orkney and must have spotted 6 may be 7 RR with just the end of the cable left so go have a loo you never know it could be yours i do have plenty of Protectors in don;t be the next one cheaper that a new winch never mined the a new wheel . If it can be made i will try if not i am up in a wood some where may be over the rain bow
