Ok.... Have now looked and yes I do have the Gap...... But I have to say I don't really see what the fuss is about....It doesn't appear to affect the car in anyway and you have to get down on your hands and knees to spot it....

My view.. Its a great (Understatement) car, the "Gap" leads to no issues on water ingress and you can't even see it unless you crawl round on your hands and knees.....

I have better things to worry about I'm afraid.

Very Happy

So you do have the gap.. Shocked

Your money ... your choice what you will and won't accept as acceptable standards of fit and finish ... we will know in a few years if water ingress causes any problems or damage .... previous LR experience say it possibly will... everything works fab for the first few years.....!!!!

This for me is as much about... if this is what is visible on the outside it begs the question what lies beneath that can't be seen... time will tell...

I expect more than that from new for my 75ish K 2014.5 SDV6 AB Dynamic ... Fuji /Santorini Pan roof and 22's

Hi All,

Thought I would share a pic of my rear end which I picked up on 1st Sept.

Not sure if this is a temporary solution to the "Gap" problem, or permanent?? Either way I would never have noticed a potential issue had I not read about it here first (the additional seal is flush all around).

Very impressed with the car, truly an amazing vehicle in every respect.
