Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 Autobiography Stornoway Grey

This looks very decent at just over £40. Does the lot....camcord, webcam, stills......and on dash camera for car...or helmet cam for motor cycle.....attachment for a cycle (extra options the different fitments). The video is 23 minutes long but at 10:02 you can see the dash cam attached to a helmet view and at 17:30 you can see footage taken from a car dash....nice clarity.

One advantage I found with the MiWitness is the internal battery which means you can take the camera from the car and record events for about 20mins.

Hi peachy, this is interesting. Can I please ask where in the car you will fit this? Forgive my ignorance but I presume that it is forward facing to capture the forward view but it should also be as discrete as possible.

Historically it lives behind the rear view mirror hidden from the drivers view. The rear one I have never had before so will be advised by the fitter

If you look closely you can see the dash cam just above the air freshener.

Scotland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Has the Kbps rate been improved on the Blackvue 600/650 from the 500? The 500 seemed to struggle a little bit from light to dark areas.

The fitting service offered on the site, will that cover me up in Scotland?, I've had a look about the site but it only really mentions late cancelation charges 2007 RRS 2.7 HSE - Java Black

Sorry mate - cant drive for 10 days - just had an operation. The Blackvue was returned - replaced by the used company in 24 hours. It now works fine - me & the wife are out today if we can I will try & post pics of going from daylight into tunnels etc. The fitting was very impressive - speak to the company who are selling the Blackvue - they are very knowledgeable - they organise the fitting & should be able to answer any questions / queries.

Cheers Peachy, please don't put yourself out for me mate, I've pretty much come to the decision to get one anyway and will give the Blackvue folks a bell, one question do you find the rear view camera worth the extra? 2007 RRS 2.7 HSE - Java Black

To be honest yes - especially in parking mode - I park nose in at home therefore only ever recorded my garage but now with the rear I can see what all my neighbours are up to Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

Seriously when I had my spare wheel stolen although the front camera joined all the evidence together a rear cam would have caught them in the act Thumbs Up
