Far from being a sceptic, but the guy has a vested interest at you wearing tyres out quicker Whistle 50 is way too high and it will take the centre out rapidly as wide tyres grow at speed to oval profile. Add 10 psi too much and they won't last Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I once heard of a chalk technique to check the correct tyre pressures...something like you put a like of chalk on the tyre and drive so far and you see where its rubbed off.

As i couldnt remember the technique i googled it: http://www.automedia.com/Optimizing_Tire_Pressure/ccr20010801tp/1 i did it once on a defender with different size muds on an it worked, maybe worth trying it Mike

The 20's I've on have on the tyre wall max 50psi, I went to 43 on each off them but after reading this think I'll drop it back down, they are Pirelli Scorpion Zero - I thought 50 was a bit much! But now reading this think 43 is still a lot, might tail it back to 38 and less on the back. Anyone have these and what do you run them at?

It is more psi on the front due to the engine being there right? Idea

I have 20's on mine, and have the tyre pressures according to the book page 298 and the yellow stick it thingy just inside the front cover Rolling Eyes and they both say 34'F & 36R for normal load and 38F & 42R full load. Temp spare wheel all operating conditions set to 60.

Regards

Howler

The tyre pressure is on the door, use that.

The tyre pressure on the side wall is the max pressure before you will blow the tyre pressure out Mike

There are two or three load set up tyre pressures like most cars

usually 2+ baggage and 5+baggage... all on the door Mike
