change stereo to 6cd unit

My 2005 RRS has the single cd stereo. If I source the 6cd player, will it be a straight swap?

I'm 100% sure but I think you would need to communicate with the ECU and change settings in there. If you just fit it the ECU may not recognise it. RRS '05 4.4 Bonatti Gray Black Leather

I have the Gap Diagnostics IIDtool but have never seen anything in the CCF to configure for 6CD.

Can anyone confirm if they have changed to a 6CD or had to replace one that it is a straight swap?
