I will take the neutral vote Rolling Eyes - but my Sport is Black Very Happy if you don't like it after you've done it - it will cost about £120 for brand new replacement parts from the stealers & you should get money back off the removed painted trims. Thumbs Up
Go for it Very Happy 16MY Estoril Blue SVR.............
17MY Autobiography Dynamic - Corris Grey - WOW.
14MY Autobiography Dynamic - SDV6 - Fuji White Smile
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Santorini Black - Dual View - Rear Entertainment - Sunroof.
12MY Autobiography - SDV6 - Orkney Grey - awesome ;(
2005 Java Black - 4.2 V8 Supercharged First Edition- will never be forgotten ;(

Bumpers yes, tailgate trim and door trims yeas, but pillars need to remain Matt black to give a bit of contrast even on a black car Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀
TDV8 Sport HSE...... Gone. Loved it but it didn't love me!!
Now rolling in MY10 Fullfat TDV8 Vogue. Slammed it to go round corners🙈
Cruising daily #56 mph in a Volvo V8. 😱
Lots of other toys in the cupboard...😜

I think your right mate, I'm looking at pictures of them and the coloured cars do benefit from the contrast.

It's up to you but I think the matt does break it all up even on my black one.

Did you find a photo of a red one with them painted? If so pop it up I'd like to have a look.

I fully colour coded my previous (silver) RRS but felt the a and b pillars would be a bit too much.

A pet hate for me too - the floating roof design is right for the RRS IMHO - colour coded pillars just look wrong Rolling Eyes

I agree lower trim colour coded looks better too - partly why I went black this time as I am too tight to fork out for the paint job Laughing Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Agreed bottom or lower panels definitely look better coded.

I saw this on that auction site, and would really like to try something similar but on a java black, not so sure which roof colour would be best, maybe even white?

Keep them black I say , it's part of the identity of the car . It would be like taking the grill off a RR .

No, don't do the mud flaps! Leave the car as original as possible. Your taste in colour coding may not be the same as other peoples' and it may affect your resale value or even the ability to re sell.
