Multiple Warning Lights

I'm currently experiencing some issues with my MY05 RRS. It starts and drives normally but the following lights are on the dash

Brake Light (Yellow exclamation mark)
Traction Light
HDC Not Active
Suspension Lowered
Air Suspension indicator

Anybody have any ideas?

Have you replaced a brake light bulb lately Question Or have you got a brake light bulb that has failed Question I know this sounds daft, but you'd be surprised what faults a blown brake light bulb can cause to the sensitive wiring system on a sport.

Just checked the brake lights and they are fine. Sad. I haven't replaced a bulb recently either.

Do the faults clear if you switch the ignition off then back on again Question

The suspension lowered and air suspension indicator turn on after a few seconds of starting/driving.

The traction light, HDC not active and Brake light are on constantly Neutral

Brake light switch. Sits above the brake pedal. Access through removing the lower panel. £18. I had the same issue.

Would the brake lights work as normal if the brake like switch has gone?

Yes. Well they did on mine. Have a close look at the switch because you can sometimes see the burn marks. It just gets old and gives up resulting in these lights coming on.

+1 on the brake light switch. I had the same problem at the weekend. Sorted by replacing the switch and following Paddi's guide here http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/topic30757.html

The switch has two sets of contacts inside
1 for the brake lights and the other for the ECU. The ecu ones are what cause the issue, you brake lights work but the ecu doesn't

For £21 its the cheapest option after a blown brake light bulb and worth trying. There was nothing visibly wrong with mine from the outside but upon opening the old switch the blackened contacts and arcing mark were visible TDV8 now with extra grin factor thanks to Alive Tunning: Gone but not forgotten

Battery in tip top condition? Again a weak battery can cause some warnings to come up. Next step would be get it plugged and see what codes you have stored and take it from there.

Could be something to do with the electrics related to the towhook.

has a tow hook been supplied with your car or ever been used?

then there should be additional electronics installed in your car which could well be the cause.

Okay guys. The car is in with a specialist.
The battery is in the accepted voltage so I can rule that out. The vehicle has no towhook and was never supplied with one.

The specialist has advised that it is an injector fault causing these issues. Just looked at the price of injectors and almost fell over Crying or Very sad

I have googled injector faults for the RRS but I dont think anybody has experienced the same faults as I am. Hence me being slightly concerned Sad
