Almost all systems communicate through the instrument cluster/assembly and if the battery voltage is low this will cause the 'Christmas tree' effect with the warning lights.

Disconnect your battery and charge it then reconnect - with any luck it will all reset. Sunroof, windows etc may need recalibrating.

If it was all fine before replacing steering wheel, have you put it back together properly? What was the reason for replacing steering wheel? 5.0 Ltr Superchrged RRS2, Chile Red, Sideways out of junctions!

Nothing needs recoding, are you sure the new battery is fully charged, unless the wiring is wrong just changing the wheel should not cause any problems.. try a hard reset and see if that fixes it, and also what is the alternator pumping ot volts wise..

Flack Thumbs Up

Hi flack
Iv had one of my lads in work shop look at it and all voltage is correct even took it out on long drive with everything switched off and got back to yard pressed key fob to lock car within 3/5 mins it started going crazy plugged in computer and only fault code was Body control unit lost memory so that's why I'm thinking I need to get Landrover to code it in !

Please advise

Yes thats it, but if you are getting that error code about bcm it has some how corrupted something, I think you might need to sync the ipack with the bcm to get rid of the error. The only thing I can think of is the battery was low when you reconnected it and this caused your problem.

Hi Jonny
I change my battery recently as I was constantly getting transmission errors on the dash, cause battery could not maintain >12 volts for the computers. Anyway I took it to my local garage who reset the errors messages and everything is OK now.
