****Stolen KTM 250 EXC off road bike****

Hi guys,

I've cleared this with Martin for this section.

My work colleague/mate has had his off-road KTM 250 EXC stolen overnight 15th onto 16th August. Big Cry Big Cry It was taken whilst padlocked with an industrial sized chain and lock and attached to his van! He was at Devonshire Walk Car Park, Cumbria whilst there for an off-road motorcycle event.

He's only recently bought it and as you can imagine he's pretty hacked off right now

Hopefully the pic will appear in this thread.

Please keep an eye out for it. I know it'll be difficult but it's got quite a few aftermarket bits fitted and if you think you spot it, my mate will be able to identify it as his.

Even if you spot it on Ebay or Gumtree, local rag etc.

Please get in touch with me if that's the case via pm or email.

Cheers guys

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

Sorry to hear but unfortunately not an isolated incident. Im seeing "Bike Stolen" posts popping up all over the offroad forums i use. Best of luck with getting it back mate but my advice would be not to watch out for the bike being sold, more being the parts sold on after being stripped. 2007 TDV6 HSE

England

Unfortunately this has been going on for years not just a recent thing Sad

My cousin bought a rare bike some years ago and had it chained to another bike in his back yard - Censored pulled a transit down the side of wall and lifted both bikes over wall into van and away Evil or Very Mad

His bike was so rare they dumped it in leeds canal probably realising it would be their downfall but the other bike was never seen again. The dumped/rare bike was written off and he could not replace it Big Cry

Hope your mate gets it back or insurance sort him a replacement Bow down Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!
