Have you had the bonnet open recently?

Yes agree with Ady, - bonnet might not be closed properly.

Had the same on mine a while ago. If I remember correctly, there was a known fault with the catch on the off side and a guide to "fixing the problem" somewhere Confused ? on You Tube.....Quite easy to do I think..

Good luck. Carl

Any advice for the same problem on the Wife's 08 RRS?

Catch mechanism for the "d hooks" on the bonnet feel different to the youtube video.

It's currently only on the plastic bonnet release and it's somewhat windy in Derbyshire...

Cheers

Could be any of the doors, tailgate or bonnet not 100% shut In Spain - 2018 F Pace - Frightened away from the Sports due to crank failures
Gone - A couple of RRS, A couple of Disco's. However thinking of another Sport.

It's definitely the bonnet Smile

I can lift it quite a lot as the 2 d hooks aren't locking.

It's only being held by the plastic

Just a guess but is the release cable or mechanism seized? Does the hood release lever spring back into the detente position when you release it or just stay in the same place? 2008 MY Java Black TDV8 HSE

Happened to my old TDV6 after it came back from service at LR. Turns out it ws the bonnet latches seized, even though part of the service was greasing and checking operation of latches Rolling Eyes
