Hi dryden,

No problem...I did realise what you were up to.

My response was for those who would probably have said the same...but meant it. It was hard enough getting a picture of the badge at all ..... without me or my camera reflecting off the badge ...or the shiny new paintwork!!!!!

Hi BC,

....Awaits MY05-09 members requesting where they can buy 'HSE Black' badges to update their RRS's

Short answer - they can't !!!!

"Blacks" are delivered to dealers without badges - the dealer than has to use the "LR Dealer Portal" to order a badge against a VIN number.

Obvioulsy I could have got a badge and sold it on...but that would be dishonest Whistle

Very easy to get them...so dont believe that...getting parts through the dealer network is easier than other ways

I bought a few 60SE defender parts for my 08 defender - they were the same and only available through a dealer - you just have to know your dealer! Mike

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Got to say that my new "Black" goes like stink compared to my "old" MY 12. I've only done 200 odd miles but the pick up is quicker and the top end is more urgent.

Both cars have the same engine so i'm assuming my last one was a "friday" car is this is a well put together Monday car. MPG also seems to be 3 to 5 MPG better Smile

Anyone else finding a difference.....

got to say after 1500 miles in mine,i'm very impressed
when i had the big rr,,,sometimes i wondered why drivers would spend £60k on a sport when they could get a real range rover for not a lot more,,,a bit like buying a boxster i thought
but thats it,,its a different car altogether
now i look at the full fat drivers and think how they roll and panic driving round fast corners,,lol 2013.5 rrs black edition in white here now

Your Black will be the same as my 13MY car - its certainly an improvement on the 11 i had - but i couldnt compare it to a 12 as i never had one, but it does have some sprint in it Mike

United Kingdom 2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Santorini Black

Had my hse bkack for a couple of days now and first ever RR so bear with me with the below

1. Surprised by how noisy the engine when idle. Thought with technology it may have been a bit quieter
2. This is the first diesel I've had, and read in the manual about certain types of diesel 90-95 RON which will prevent knocking, this is all new to me, which forecourt and type of diesel should I be using on a new RRS
3. Very impressed with the added bonus of the digital speedo and drivers display
4. I had active lights on my old Lexus rx and the lights turned 20-25 % to the turn when I turned the wheel, the vision assist I have on this RRS turns on another front light when I indicate and turn a corner, is that correct or should the actual beams be turning with the turn of the wheel
5. Need to get used to the cancelation as I had CCVT accelartion in my Lexus and the RRS needs to build up then it becomes smoother

The above are not complaints as I love the car just I need to get used to its characteristics 2013 13.5 MY HSE BLACK with privacy glass, vision assist pack, side steps and ebony headlining

Iust come back to RRS

Hi All,

Bought a 2.7 HSE new in 2006 and enjoyed it and had 3 years troble free motoring.

After a brief period with Audi I back in the fold.

Picked up an Orkney Grey HSE Black this morning and boy have they improved the car!!

Out for the first decent drive tomorrow and really looking forward to it.

Cheers
Jim G
