Airbag warning light always on - thoughts?

The red airbag 'warning' light is constantly on in my new RRS (less than 1200 miles).

Has anyone else had this situation? As far as I know, nothing has happeded to/with my RRS that would affect the airbags.

It is worth going to the dealer immediately to research the issue? Should I just wait until a scheduled service and note the warning light then?

I'd appreciate any advice from more 'seasoned' RRS owners.

Cheers!

I'm not a seasoned owner, however would still recommend a dealer visit asap. It could be just a faulty sensor somewhere, however personally I wouldn't assume its ok as it is a safety feature and needs to be in full working order - I'd be at the dealer immediately myself

I would take it to the dealer. Better to be safe than take a chance. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

It is probably nothing more than a software glitch but you need to take your vehicle to your dealership for further investigation, just incase. Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

If you are talking about the passenger airbag defeat... in North America, that's automatically done by sensors. There is no switch.

Yes, I've got a North American model with no override. I'm off to the dealer for service on Thursday, thanks all for the helpful advice.
