Yes, I like most on the RRS Forum actually own a RRS. I also have 4 children a dog, 2 cats, pay a mortgage and regularly donate to the RNLI, Help the Hero's, Royal British Legion, St Ormonds Street Childrens hospital and any other cause that I deem worthy.

Guys thanks for your support on this. If anyone would like their donation back in the light of skywalkers comments then I will of course be very happy to send it straight back to you.......

Also Lucky was a stray abandoned by a pack and cared for by Jim - not his pet

From my experience, dogs can be expensive to own, especially when medical care is needed. But this is all in the game.

Personaly, if i would not have the financial means to meet these obligations, i would like to prefer to sell first my RRS, wrist watch ,MAC etc trying to finance these bills on my own instead of holding up my hand.

Anyway, i hope the dog will be ok and that Jim will manage to bring his pet to the UK for free as planned.

I think you need to re read the story. Amazing reaction. This about a decent man trying to give a poor animal a home. He simply asked for advice accordingly on how to do this not finance it. That was offered.  2007 Black on Black colour coded TDV8

Have just arrived back from visiting Lucky and can report that he still looks a state, but is on the mend.

I took a few photo's and will get them posted tomorrow.

A plan is now loosely in place, and he should be in the UK In June

Hi all

I just wanted to update you all on whats been happening over the last couple of days.

Firstly a very big thank you to gFunk

I turns out that his Mum lives in one of the expat compounds in Khobar. She sent out a call for help via e mail, and within 30 minutes I had 7 offers from people to "foster" Lucky until June, when I can bring him back to the UK!

I have also found that KLM will fly him as hold luggage back to the UK for 200 Euros.

So it looks as if a plan has come together!

Thank you to everyone who donated or gave advice. I won't forget your kindness, and you will all be invited to a party that I am holding next May (May 2014) more details will follow.

I'll keep you all up dated.
