Mine did this not long after I'd got it. Exited from an underground car park and it thought I was about a mile away.
It sorted itself out when was left over night locked up. Not sure if the Sat Nav has it's own separate reset to be honest.

Failing that I suppose you could do a 'reset' of the car by way of disconnecting the battery. There are a couple of guides on here Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

I'm sure there is a manual adjustment for the current position of the vehicle. I played with it some time ago and can't remember how to get into the specific menu, but do recall being able to move the current position of the vehicle. (Whilst stationary I hasten to add).

If you put an address a mile or two to a destination in the sat nav it will say "destination to close, look on the map for bla bla bla" . This is what you have to do LOOK ON THE SAT NAV SCREEN and you will see a red point on the map. You will also see all the streets. You don't get instructions "go left or go right" just go left or right like you will fallow a real map to reach the red point on the map.

I told this to my sister and she said she swered bad words for 3 yrs because she did not know Rolling with laughter

Thumbs Up /|\
