2006 hse iPod/iPhone connectivity

Can anyone confirm how I can achieve full connectivity and have the info from iPod appear on the sat nav screen and be able to change tracks etc from existing controls?

For a Land Rover option....there isn't one that I know of.

I have seen a few threads on here with after market displays and all sorts of wiring head aches to get it done.

Personally I am happy to listen to the music on shuffle rather than watch a display Neutral
