Airbag light on off on off

Hi

Airbag light illuminated a few weeks back, it was on off on off so i dropped it and dealers and they diagnosed a loose connection and no charge. fixed.

Airbag now coming back on, only every now and then. Called dealers and they cannot tell me which nut/connector they tightened.

So my question is can anyone tell me where i can start looking for a possible loose connector for this problem, i mean is there a known weak spot or somewhere i should try first.

Any suggestions welcomed.

There is a ring behind the steering wheel - it has a name i can never remember - if you arent careful you can damage it and/or it can fail - if it does you get a similar problem Mike

Cheers guys.

Clock spring is possible as when i have the car stationary i can normally get the airbag light to illuminate by turning the steering wheel from side to side.

I do have a airbag removal tool, just a question of wether i am brave enough, i suspect if i disconnect the battery i won't have a airbag exploding in my face when i remove it.

Thumbs Up --------------------------
