Why did you buy a Range Rover Sport?

I bought my RRS TDV8 because :
- I like the dashboard, looks like an airplane cockpit.
- I like the power of the engine, feels like I drive a tank.
- I like the feeling when I press the acceleration pedal.
- I like it because I JUST LIKE IT Rolling with laughter !!! RRS TDV8 !!!

Because SWMBO wanted one Evil or Very Mad

I wanted a disco - a Land Rover with comfort thrown in Thumbs Up

Then I wouldn't have to swap my tyres twice a year Big Cry Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

I wanted a proper 4x4

I wanted comfort

I really wanted a FFRR but thought that SWMBO wouldn't like the softer suspension (she gets sea sick just watching Trawlermen on the telly!!)

But perhaps most importantly, SWMBO didn't want me to, so I did! Wink

Rolling with laughter 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Belgium 2008 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Buckingham Blue

I wanted a FFRR and the wife wanted a Freelie2 so the RRS was a compromise between the two, plus the fact that after she drove the TDV8 at LRE Dunkeld she loved it Very Happy Sons of dogs come hither and get flesh
