Folks, have been intending to get some great pictures and a video of the interior especially a demo of the dual screen tv in the front. Have had it Swissvaxed this weekend even though the weather has been appalling!

Will get these done this week sometime.

I am incredibly impressed with the car though. Was concerned about the tdv8 vs tdv6 comparison but no problem, the new engine/gearbox combination makes it a great drive, acceleration and cruising on the motorway.

How would you describe the difference in engine re driving character and acceleration etc? TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx
20" HST alloys, Privacy glass, Side steps, Xenon Adaptive Lighting, Adaptive cruise control

I had my old one remapped and a different exhaust on it so I may not be comparing Like with like but here goes...

The tdv8 was more growly, felt like it had more umph but didnt feel as effortlessly fast as the tdv6. The gearbox on the tdv6 makes the drive far more adaptable to your mood of driving and, although the gear changes are v smooth I do notice that there is more of them going on. This will probably fade to insignificant given time and is certainly not obtrusive.

Speed seems the SAme if not faster in my new car.

New avatar and signature coming but, does everyone know that on the new RR sport your iPhone connects via blue tooth to play music????? I didnt. Had connected it to the iPod connector to play this morning (a good blast of Neil Diamond classics) and when I got back in later in the day, without physically connecting it, music came on!! Seriously impressed.

Not to mention the hard drive that stores each cd as you load it so you only need to put them in once and then you can play them whenever you want in the future without having the cd in!

Yep, double amazing.
