Introducing myself under the biog' New Lord Fenham as at 31.05. '11.

I was and still am Lord Fenham but swithched to a new input address; so had to create a new input name.

Have a RR Sport, 3.6 HRT; but getting a modified 4.6 Litre Defender that isa totally customised in next day or so. It is Pick-up but with 3 seats in the cab. And Versuvious Orange with Grey trimmings and modernised cab.

Engine as 4.6 block can do 120mph or more if tested, as engine is only 3 years old and has done only 30, 000 miles but the body is 20 years old.

Not bad ehhh?

Actually, the car will be my wife's as I drive a small impractical plastic sports car for my day to day use.

Have owned a few LR's over the years and currently run a 2003 TD5 Disco SE - been a good old bus for the last few years but it's time to move on and upgrade

Have to say, there don't seem to be that many RRS HSE's for sale with sub 40k miles for my budget (up to £28k) but I'm patient

running (although strictly speaking rolling!!!) a D2 at present and been thinking about what to get next, though it was going to be a D3, may be more practable than a RRS, but still prefer the Sport
So looking for a SE or HSE ideally a 55 plate, with towing gear, satnav and "timed climate" enabled, have read the sticky thread about the towing electrics...would could be very benifical to my wallet !

Hi guys and welcome You will find the site full of positive and negitive comments just as any other car forum but don't let these put you off a RRS, Just have a test drive of one and you should make your own mind up after that, personally i would find the highest spec you can to suit your budget, good luck with your search's

Im steve, I live in Central Scotland and Im a Engineer/ director in a Computer support company

Well, Ive finally bought a RRS HSE, in Givernay Green, and I love it.

I have had it less than a week and already it developed an issue with a seal on the fuel tank , i was filling her up (1st time) and there was more coming out under the car than there was going in Anyway the garage said to bring it back and they would fix the problem, which has now been done, So it led me to here..

I'm glad Ive found a forum on the RRS and im hoping I can gain some knowledge and add any skills and experiences to the forum in the future,

Whilst here, does anyone recommend any warranty companies for the RRS, Ive been told to get a warranty as big repairs can be costly !

I reccomend a lr warranty much easier and less paperwork
Do a search for a recent topic on the subject
