Hi everyone! I like your community and the fact that you're focused on RRS only, because it is very special car! I wish we had similar community in Russia, but we have general LR community with more Disco and Freel owners.

So I am from Moscow, Russia. I own 2011 RRS S/C since February (santorini black and tan leather), I am in process of ordering R22 forged wheels from USA and I will have many many upgrades soon!

Also I have recently made a record. From 0 to 100 km/h in 5,30 sec! as accurate as Iphone 4 + Dynolicious app. Those who think that it can't provide true results, it was compared to the latest Gtech-Pro and difference was only 0,03 seconds! I believe in 5,1 in full stock. I made 5,3 with 50kg passenger, full fuel tank, Russian BP 98 Ultimate petrol (yeah our great oil nation doesn't offer 102 at all ) and I also started with just one leg without accelerating before starting. So if you start alone with good petrol and not fully loaded tank + some luck - it's possible to make it in less than 5,2, but that's maximum for sure!

p.s. It's cool to see Vadim from UK I wish to move to Europe soon as well, I love Russia, but roads are killing me and I love big rims )

hi all i have just bought a 2009 rrs stormer . does anyone know what the main faults to look out for.

Hi, Just acquired first RRS. V pleased so far - just a couple of questions someone may be able to help with ??....
I have the handbook, service book and audio book but not the one for satnav and bluetooth phone - anyone know if they are easy to come by ??
Also, I have noticed a short 'screech' noise from the engine bay just as the engine is switched off.......is this normal (maybe fan or something ??).

Due to pick mine up tomoz and dealer called. Previous owner not completed Reg transfer! May come from DVLA tomorrow.

Don't know about the noise, there are loads of really knowledgeable people though on this site. I spoke with someone yesterday about the car and he said with it being a turbo engine. Don't switch the engine off straight away. Let it idle for a minute to let the pressure drop. He races trucks for a living and builds the engines, so probably knows what he is talking about. Life is not a rehearsal it's the real thing, live it and love it.
