United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Zermatt Silver

The Dynamic response pumps up the dampers on the "outside" side when going around corners, to stop the typical leaning normally associated with tall vehicles. Dynamic resopnse also works front-to-back to avoid tail squats and nose dive.

Bob. RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!

When I test-drove the RRS with and without dynamic pack, I thought the difference was amazing.
The Brembo brakes were so much more progressive and powerful, with very little in the way of nosedive compared with the non-dynamic version. The damping seemed better as well, and of course the car didn't "lean" as much as the non-dynamic version.
Doesn't the dynamic pack include the adaptive lights as well?
I would imagine that if it was possible, to dealer fit a complete dynamic pack would be far more expensive than the £3k(ish) that LR charge as an option.

Bob.

Thanks for the pics Tim, very smart!

Only trouble is i am getting really tempted by the dynamics pack,
keep asking myself, is it worth £2750 extra though?

Also would it affect insurance? 2014 Nara Bronze SDV6

Dynamic Pack = 20" wheels (at least £2000 for 4 and you will get 5)
+ Brembo Brakes (what price, expensive)
+ Trick electronically controlled antiroll bars that automatically dislocate and relocate when you play offroad (priceless as no other maker has it!)

I think if you want these things then it would be money well spent. As my car was bought on launch day, off the dealers shoroom floor, I couldn't have the DP option.

Cannot see how it would affect your insurance, it would make the declared value of the car more. I insure mine with Land Rover just to get the offroad and fantastic towing cover they include as standard. I would imagine that they wouldn't be concerned if you had them fitted at the factory as then they would be maker's approved accessories rather than "after market" accesories and your car would not be penalised by being "modified"

Must admit that I haven't tried a car with Dynamic Pack yet but I find the standard set-up on the 18" wheels is OK for me.

BTW be very careful with the keys for your removable tow ball - the keys are not very robust and I managed to snap one trying to remove it from the lock.... fortunately I was able to get the bit inside the lock out with some pliers. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Simon, IMHO the dynamic pack is a no-brainer!

OE 5 x 20" wheels with Continental's will set you back c. £3300 alone.

Add in Brembo's, swivelling headlights and ARM it's an absolute steal.

This is one thing I wish I'd had fitted as I also think it could be beneficial come resale time. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

ST, I think that the spare wheel is never bigger than 19'. Land Rover suggest that you shouldn't put a punctured 20" wheel in the space where the spare came from because it will damage the face of the wheel.

RRUK, Yes, It was a tough one. I love the black, its looks sensational. My daughter and all her friends wanted me to get black, but in the end I went for silver (all my cars are silver) because I'd spend all my life cleaning a black one (I travel up and down the mororways in all weathers, and I'm obsessive about cleaning my cars).

I live in Hinckley.......................yes, I know........................near the "Babes and Bubbles".
Every thread I read has "Babes and Bubbles" in it somewhere.
