Sounds like a trip to the dealer is in order. When the airbag light on mine was on (intermittently - like all the best electrical faults Big Cry ) it was eventually traced to a faulty crash sensor!?!

Hi Nic,

what was the fault at the end?
How much did you pay to get it fixed?

Mine airbag light came on twice this week... Neutral SW

he probably means the isolator switch for if you have a small child in the front. (disables the passenger airbag)

It's located on the end of the dash molding and is a slot you can turn with the ignition key.

You can just see it here

Ah - of course!

Thank you. I'll give that a whirl before ringing the dealer.

I had the same issue in an old P38 I had, the vehicle went into a main agent (a very poor one I have to admit) and came back with the same issue, they told me they had spent many hours trying to resolve and had been unable to do so.

I ended up finding out it was a common issue (via a Rangie forum), which was a lose connection under the drivers seat, which I sorted myself.

However, I am told trying to fix anything airbag related is not recommended due to the potential of the system discharging which can be dangerous. That said it was the only way I could resolve the matter at the time. --------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the tip.

I took it to my local dealer earlier to ask them to read the fault code.

They were rammed full so couldn't.

But the chap that runs their Service Dept. asked if the seats have been moved.

I told him the car was recently cleaned and he said to check these wires too.

Looks like it was a dodgy connection under the seat.

All sorted now - phew.

Over the last few days when it's been really cold I've had another 'Suspension Fault'.

Got it when running front & rear heated screens, the heated seats.

My guess was the battery and it was. Which is kind of good I guess - cheaper than the suspension anyway Smile

Thanks to all for their help.
