Scotland 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Galway Green
Tbh heater fumes in cabin

Can anyone help here I suspect I am getting fumes inside the cabin when idling have had a stinking headache and can smell fumes inside
Slightly worried about this has anyone else noticed this issue

I have smelt this first thing when manoeuvring i.e. turning around/reversing but disappears when I set off Neutral Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

Not a lot can be done apart from putting your 'recirculation' button on when idling... It's a flaw of the FBH not venting out of the engine bay...

Jump in start the car and hit the button for recirculate. Should stop it... Also anything over +5 deg won't activate the FBH....

Me too; while sat in traffic. It seems to go once the car is moving again. FF 4.4 V8 Soooo looking forward to this bad boy

Also check there is not an actual diesel leak from the high pressure fuel pump or a leaking injector which is spraying onto the manifold....it can give similar fumes and as it evaporates once it hits the manifold there are no real tell tale drip signs below the car

Thanks very much for the feed back does the FBH (my error) keep on running when the engine is switched I know it runs when the engine is off
One thing I did think that was hampering the exhaust was the build up of snow within the arches
But will certainly lOok at the HP fuel manifold for leakage
