Switzerland 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
Matt black 20" Stormer on a Java Black RRS: yay or nay?

Hi guys, long time no see... Thumbs Up

Well, it's almost two years since I got my 2007 TDV6 HSE, still madly in love with it BUT the other day I got stuck in some serious mud... As a result, I badly scratched all 4 wheels, especially the rear ones.

Now, since I'm gonna repaint them, I was thinking about spicing it up a little bit and going for some matt black Stormer. I'm not sure though, since right now I got chromed mirror covers and a TDV8 grille, the clear grey one. By removing the clear grey of the wheels, maybe it will look a bit TOO dark and the above mentioned clear parts might look dull?

Or maybe I should go with the partially black Stormer, like those?

Any advice would be really appreciated, some many choices, ahhhhhhhhh! Big Cry

Some pictures of a Java Black RRS with matt black Stormer would be great as well, thanks a lot! Thumbs Up

it's all a matter of taste. If you like it go for it. Personally, I think black wheels on mine would look hideous - but mine is fully colour coded black (mirrors, door handles etc are all black). However, a black and chrome combo with black wheels might look OK. As I say, all personal taste. If you see a bandwagon - it's too late.....

Java Black HSE TDV6 O7, alpaca, FF sunroof, adaptive Xenon headlights, SC grill, black privacy glass, clear indicators, tow-pack, colour-coded all black.Gone, but forever in my memory. Until my new one comes...

It will probably look less classy and more "California-style"... Mr. Green

I'm still on the edge, on this picture they look pretty good to me:

But it might be the angle. I'm gonna ask a friend to use some Photoshop skills and TF9 if he still have some better pics. W'll see. Thumbs Up
