Trouble with my phone

Hi all,

Annoyingly the garage where I bought my RRS didn't supply me with a phone/nav manual. I have managed to find the bluetooth pairing code and now my RRS finds my phone. What am I doing wrong Big Cry .......
If I dial a number it will call that person but I cannot hear them and they cannot hear me. Do I need an additional microphone in the car? Same thing happens if someone calls my phone when I'm in the car I can pick it up but they cannot hear me and I can't either.

I'm sure I'm doing something wrong!??? Laughing

please help Confused

Jas

Have you tried another phone to see if it works?

I have had similar problem with my Nokia 5800 handset (not in car though)- nokia software update fixed it Thumbs Up

Annoyingly £53K LR/RR bluetooth has limited compatibility despite my £200 Garmin Nuvi working with just about any bluetooth phone Evil or Very Mad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Have you checked that your phone is compatible with the RRS system on the Land Rover website. It also tells you which functions will and will not work and which software upgrades wou need to have for your phone to make it work.

Have look on the LR Owner information site for your missing manual.

Yes it's a problem with the Apple software updates. I think the Apple os4 software works fine. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
