You might need to change the whole coolant expansion tank, especially if your vehicle is within this VIN- range : AA215621-AA224000 and 'Check Coolant Level' warning message is being displayed in the instrument cluster message center despite no leaks being evident and the coolant is at the correct level.

Apparently it is because there is "too much vertical travel of the float within the expansion tank". The new tank has an internal roof feature change to overcome this problem. Smile Malaysia Boleh!

"Hood open"?
Not "bonnet open"? Surprised

Did you try closing it? Wink

It could be the switch, see this thread..http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/post268789.html#268789 Malaysia Boleh!

If the hood switch is bad, no matter how tight you close the hood, the message "hood open" coming on and the alarm going off will occur as per the earlier link.

Only way is to get your dealer to check it and if necessary, replace it. Wink Malaysia Boleh!

Well, if your hood is perfectly and tightly closed and it still says the hood is open, I would think the hood ajar switch is faulty and giving out the wrong message. Smile

You did not really read the link above, did you? Wink
The hood ajar switch is attached to the bottom of the right hand hood latch. Cool Malaysia Boleh!
