Car won't accelerate below 2.500 rpm?!

Hi,

my car does not only squeek it also does not want to accelerate at low rpms. And no, it is not due to the weak engine I bought Rolling Eyes Wink it is reaaalllllyyy slow. It takes about 20-40 seconds to get from stop to about 2.500 rpm infirst gear, from then on it accelerates quite normal.
I also have this phenomenon in the other gears but it is especially dangerous in first gear since I can not start the car quickly at a crossing, it more rolls over any crossing which sometimes is quite scary... Confused On the other hand it is nice because my parking sensors don't work at the moment and the car is so slow when parking at least I can not damage my car! Mr. Green

Anyway:
The RRS won't accelerate below 2.500 rpms. Anybody an idea?

It first appeared end of last week when the fuel was almost empty. I thought: Okay, it might be veeery empty, so let us refuel. But the problem is still there. I refueled with V-Power-Diesel so poor fuel quality can not be the reason I guess, also I have de-remapped it a few weeks ago (and drive about 600 mls per week) so a remap can not be the reason, too. The RRS was services about 6,000 mls ago.

Yes, I know, trip to the stealer, but since they do usually do not have any clue I wanted to ask here first to give them a manual where to search! Thumbs Up Wink

Thanks a lot! Cool

And thanks for not shouting RTFM since I do not have time (or the will) to do so... Rolling Eyes Mr. Green RRS TDV6 HSE, 2006, bonatti grey, ebony interior, rear diff, s/c grille and vents, stormers, privacy, tasmods, iphone integration Wink

Could be your EGR Valves. Had a similar issue with my 2007 2.7 TDV6 and it turned out to be a stuck EGR Valve.
If it is this, then dealer will be able to get the error codes from the car to confirm which one it is. 2013 Discovery HSE Luxury - 3.0 SDV6 - Santorini Black
