I have noticed a very annoying creaking noise coming from the rear of the car when driving along a less than smooth road surface. It is really creaky when going over a speed hump or up a rough track. It's driving me nuts.

My spare wheel is currently winched upside down as it wont wind up fully and I have the car booked into the dealers on Thursday for a new winch mechanism and a new wheel nut spanner as mine broke when changing my alloys on Saturday. I have asked them to investigate the creak.

Any ideas?

I think I have a similar noise, I can repeat the noise if I open the glass tailgate and push down on the main tailgate. It sounds like the noise is coming from the plastic trim inside the boot, but have yet to work out how to stop this noise.

Had a similar problem, eventually found my gran in the boot purple people eater

got this creak as well but it's coming from the undercarriage...
need to take it in to LR to have it checked out.
