It looks like I have a slight leak coming from the ram on the rear stabiliser bar.
I have heard that if the filter gets blocked on this system this can cause it, or are there replaceable seals on the ram that degrade over time (grit ingress etc)??? Any advice and diagrams greatly appreciated.
It's a 2007 TDV8, just out of warranty, typical.....

Sadly I don't believe that LR list any spares for the actuator. How big a leak is it? If it is just a wetness on the piston it probably isn't an issue. If foreign matter has got into the system it could be a degrading pump rather than dirt from outside. Have you checked the filter in the reservoir?

Ohhh my god, my stealer just called me up to say it will be £1688. . . . . . Just fell over when she told me the price. The ARB is £860 on its own!

Thanks Bob, it is leaking from the actual ram piston (leaking from somewhere of part number 2). I expect a slight misting of oil due to how it works, but this is an actual drip of oil than is ruining my drive.
I haven't checked the filter but I'll do that in the morning, is it just placed into the reservoir??

The annoying part is that this vehicle has already had the rear ARB replaced back in November 2008 (under warranty)!!! Surely this isn't a common thing to keep failing.

So, 1 day out of warranty and Land Rover are only willing to pay 25% of the cost. . . . . Totally disgusted.
