Has anyone managed to negotiate any discount on a new RRS?

I am not sure how cheeky I can be with my dealer, I think if I am spending £58K the least they can do is throw in the rubber mats and seat covers I want for free, don't you think?

In the words of the dealer I am dealing with when asked if he would throw the mats in for nothing (against £47k). Sorry sir I cant do that, This is a brand new model an their will be no discounts with the amount of people on the waiting list.
I think the term over a barrel springs to mind, if you want the car then thats how it goes. Not to good for customer relations though. Its out there somewhere. Second V10 Treg on the drive at the moment.

Put an order in yesterday for a RRS TDV6 S for January through Caffyns Lewes and got four rubber mats free, but he wouldn't go to the boot liner as well!

Discount? We don't even know what price we will eventually pay for our RRS here. Just make your model choice, pay a deposit and wait for the delivery. The dealer will let us know what the on-the-road price will be later. This was all done without brochures, test car etc.

Made my booking and paid a deposit in April on the asumption that the vehicle will cost around a certain figure. The units are supposed to arrive our shores 3rd week July and we still do not know what price!! Malaysia Boleh!
