HELP: Access Height Suspension Noise when Turning & Brak

Hi everyone. I had the suspension locked in Access Mode today and was driving slowly around a parking lot. As I was at a full stop, I turned the wheel all the way in one direction to make a u-turn, then I released the brakes. In the middle of the turn, when I stepped on the brakes again, there was a loud mettalic rubbing/screech noise coming from the front wheels. Sounded like metal clashing against each other. I tried with the other direction (going right) and it also made that noise.

Switched back to Normal height and it was fine. Doesn't anybody know what could be the cause of this metal rubbing noise? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Quite normal for there to be some creaks and groans from the suspension, one typical noise sounds like a screech. If in doubt have your local dealer have a look and perhaps lubricate some of the joints.

Access height puts some of the suspension parts at an awkward angle. Lubricationg the joints as James mentions above will help, but avoid sharp cornering in access height if you can.

Thanks for the helpful replies . It sounded like clashing metal (cymbals?) clashing together so had me rather worried. I'll guess take it to the dealer and see what they say.
