Two days ago i got a red battery warning light on the dash. LR assist came out and said suspect Alternator fault.

Took it away and gave me a Jag XF. Still waiting.................. Whistle TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

New alternator fitted. Problem solved. TDV6 - gone
TDV8 - gone

Hi try disconnecting battery leaving for 2 minutes and reconnecting also check read and clear faults if faults reoccur check fault codes again this will narrow it down. meanwhile check for water ingressto passenger footwell, ccould be wet body control unit/ fusebox. make sure sunroof drains not blocked open sunroof poor in some water at edge and make sure it comes out just behind front wheel
