Parrot Bluetooth kit

A neighbour has just bought a 2006 RRS HSE, he was told that it had a phone kit but it doesn't (even though it does have the roof mounted aerial Confused ) so I believe the best thing to fit would be a parrot kit, maybe the CK3200. Has anyone else fitted this and if so where have you fitted the control unit? Pictures please.

It might have belonged to a member on here as it had 3 wheel caps with black LR badges and one where the badge had fallen off.

I had a Parrot handsfree system in my last RRS which was an SE so didn't have the satnav so the display unit was fitted in the space for the nav screen and the wiring disappeared neatly into the back of the dash out of sight. If you use the search function you should find a few pics of it from about 4 years ago. The roof aerial is the satnav antenna IIRC as I also had one fitted to cover the 'orrid plastic strip on the roof where the aerial should have been! Folks say that the roof aerial is the phone antenna but it isn't - GPS requires a clear horizon to be received well so the roof is the best place for the antenna!
My Parrot was fitted by the local Land Rover dealer who was able to integrate it with the radio so I had the muting when there was a call. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Justcarkits.co.uk supplied the cable so that the radio mutes and the phone call comes through the speakers! They were very helpful on the phone with advice.

It is secured to the dash with a piece of velcro! Whistle The microphone is at the top of the A pillar.

Yes very securely!

It never moves, but if I needed to remove the unit, it would then be relatively pain free with no holes or marks in the dashboard!
