United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover Sport 3.0 TDV6 HSE Santorini Black
Selling up!

i am in the process of buying a new much larger house and the RRS has to go Big Cry
I have until end of Feb/March but shall I sell it while we have this snow? I am thinking it might achieve a slight premium?
Are RRS holding a good price right now, I have checked Autotrader and my car with less spec range from £25k-£30k. I dont want to price it too high and alternitively dont want to leave money on the table.

I just read a report that 4x4 sales are up 42% on this time last year!

England 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

It is 50/50 i think, just been to see a 2006(56) TDV6 HSE with 64k miles for a shade under 23K . I think its like anything if you price it sensibly you will sell it.

From the shopping ive been doing (a current RRS/RR Vogue shoppers opinion) is that RRS arent selling as well as the Vogues. The people selling the RRS seem to be dropping prices but the FFRR are sold as soon as you enquire or wont budge a penny on the price. I think its because of the volume of RRS currently for sale compared to the FFRR though. But yeh, if you are thinking of selling a 4x4 now is the time - I've actually been watching a few go up in price over the last 6 weeks (If i'd have the available cash I could have bought a FFRR Supercharged for £27k from Stratstone, its now up at £29k and they wont budge on the price - as they cant sell em fast enough).

pistonheads is free too - stick it on and see what interested you get (having said that, i just did that with my TT and sold it within a week - now im carless and havent found a suitable RR yet?!)
