Good photos, very helpful. Thanks. Thumbs Up

My Ipanema Sand RRS doesn't arrive until March, but here's a link with perhaps the best online photo collection I've seen. Just let it run as a slide show and ... wow. Cool
It would have been perfect if it was Ivory premium leather with the Ocean extension, but we can't have everything.

Sportman, I've seen a Vogue in Ipanema Sand last week at the Stealers and I thought it looks not good at all, kind of yellow/greenish with lots of silver...looks good in the catalogue though.
Also, had a Vogue in Nara Bronze which I thought looked very good with Arabica interior..changes from black, stornoway etc..I might order a Vogue in nara beginning of February, will see...have my second RRS in black with Ivory and definitely getting tired of it!!

God damn it, why can't LR be a bit more adventurous with their colours?

For the first time in my life, I'm buying a new car and really struggling to choose a colour I like. All the other cars I've owned it's been an easy decision, but there's just no clear choice for me here...

Alaska White: On my possible list, but white only looks good when clean and I keep thinking it looks a bit 80's, in an Astra GTE kind of way

Bali Blue: Was set on this at first as it's the kind of colour I normally go for, but can't help thinking it doesn't really work on the RRS, it seems to take something away from the effect of the design

Bournville: Very avant garde, but not sure this is the kind of statement I want to be making

Buckingham Blue: Too bland, but without being artfully understated

Galway Green: Fine if you're the Duke of Edinburgh (I'm not)

Ipanema Sand: Keep getting tempted by this from some photos, but then keep remembering that it's metallic beige

Izmir Blue: Maybe an alternative to Bali Blue, but just too pale and flat when I've seen it on a FL2. That said, I've never even seen a photo of an RRS in Izmir so if anyone wants to show me otherwise, please do!

Marmaris Teal: Different I suppose, but if LR wanted to have a "different" colour, why not one a bit more "in-your-face"?

Nara Bronze: Just not me. Maybe in another 20 years

Rimini Red: Just when you think LR are getting adventurous and offering a red, they feel they have to darken it and tone it down. If I want a red car, I want a RED car!

Santorini Black: Sorry, just a bit too cliched for me

Stornoway Grey: Another possible. Could be a clear winner if 9 out of 10 RRSs that I saw weren't this colour too. Victim of its own success

Zermatt Silver: Nice, but it's silver. Next time you're driving try to count how many cars aren't silver these days.

Guess I've now offended just about everyone on here, but I do appreciate it's a personal choice and I don't think I've ever seen a RRS I don't like. It's just there's a difference between "liking" and "wanting to own".

Now I've finished rambling I'm not even sure why I've posted this - it's not even as if I've asked a question is it? Just expressing my frustration I guess - come on LR, bring back Vesuvius Orange! Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Yes, I thought this might get a reply from you Wink - believe me I've spent ages looking at your gallery - it's probably the thing that makes me come back to the Bali Blue (purple is no problem, I've had a purple MGF and bought the wife a purple Mini Cooper S), but then I see other pictures of Bali Blue and I'm not sure again - it seems to "soften" the car too much, it's almost as if you lose the detail in the deepness of the colour. Although as it stands, that's what's on my current order though I won't need to go final on the spec for about another month Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+

Its a hard call, and I know what you mean, some colours suit some cars, depends on shape, size of body panels, amount of black trim, shape etc. do love mine now, looked stunning in showroom, in right light absolutely georgeous sparkling metalic blue, in other PURPLE. looks great, but prefer my first choice Rimini Red, and liking my mates "Caravanman" Teal purple people eater

So I've got to ask, why did you get the BB and not the RR? Alfa Romeo Giulietta 1.8::MG Montego Turbo::MGB GT::Rover Sterling::MGF::MG ZT 190+
