Well depending on your accommodation. If you're staying in a Hotel in France there is no chance to get into Monaco by car the days of the grand prix. You will have to park outside Monaco and you will be able to take a bus shuttle into town. However if you're staying in Monaco the Hotels have parking lots where you can park your Rangie..Usually for the grand prix the Hotels require you to book for at least 5 days to one week, depending on the Hotel. For a cheaper rate you can find a Hotel in Beausoleil (France) which is just behind Monaco and you can easily walk to Monaco 5 mins...
Best to book as soon as possible in order to find accomodation!
Hope this helps, let me know if you need further info's.

JJ

Can't help on accommodation during race week as I was always lucky to have this provided but recommend that you:

1) plan to get there for the Wednesday before as the atmosphere is one to absorb as part of the build up to race day.
2) stock up on sleep 'cos the days are long (and the bars in plentiful supply)
3) make sure you plan the N85 (Route Napoleon) into your trip. Its a faboulous road.
4) be prepared for some wallet breaking drink prices.
5) drive round the circuit late at night
6) if you want a fine dining expereince, drive to the Eden Roc Hotel near Antibes for lunch. It's an expereince.

I have stayed at The Columbus Hotel in Monaco which is owned by David Coulthard and had a jolly nice time.

Have a great time. Mr. Green I have been lucky enough to go several times and compared to the other F1 locations its an event rather than a race.
