I think you will find they are still Brembos just without the adverts on the calipers! They are also more powerful than pre 2010 TDV8's IIRC 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

Cannot find anything on the LR website, and in my brochure for 2010MY only mentions that the S/C has "High performance" brakes. No mention of the TDv8's set-up though. It does say in the brochure that TDv8 has 360mm disks at the front and 350mm at the rear, no mention of pistons or maker. There was a 2010MY 3.0ltr SE parked outside my house on Saturday and that appeared to have the same grey callipers but without the adverts on them as my TDv8. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I think there was a recent thread (on a RRS in Austria IIRC) that covered the brakes issue - i thought it was that on the SC has Brembo now and that TDV8 someone else

The new ones are IMHO nowhere near the quality of the Brembo units on my previous TDV8.

The old ones were smooth and very effective without have to really press on the brake.

Still, I suppose that's progress.'Mad' .

There is absolutely no substitute for a genuine lack of preparation.

TDV8 HSE MY10 with pretty much everything including a vase of daffs on the back shelf, tropical fish collection in the centre console, hamsters in the spare tyre and finally sheep on the passenger seats.....for weight distribution, what else??

When I did the factory tour they told me the new calipers are still made by Brembo, they just have to pay each time they use the Brembo name on the caliper, so they chose to save money and not display the name.
